COGETHERM is a mica laminate designed for extreme conditions requiring one or more of the following properties. Rigid plates have excellent resistance to heat and even to open flame up to 700 °C (Muscovite) and 1000°C (Phlogopite). It also has an excellent electrical insulation.

Not only COGETHERM has got high resistance to pressure, it is also impervious to most chemicals, in particular oil and grease.  Day by day the safety is becoming important in industry so the material properties as asbestos-free ecological safety and non-toxic brings COGETHERM to unique solution.

These excellent properties of COGETHERM allows usage in variety of applications in electro-mechanical sector (railway industry, arc chambers), as well as in the thermo-mechanical sector (Hot presses, Glass industry, Steel works, Aluminum production, Induction furnaces, Military, Gas distribution).

The thicknesses available are from 1.6 – 80 mm. Several grades of COGETHERM are available:

• Cogetherm M    Muscovite based laminate - standard grade with highest pressure resistance
• Cogetherm P     Phlogopite based laminate -grade for application with continuous resistance >700 °C
• Cogetherm MC  is Muscovite based laminate - desmoked version of Cogetherm M - fumes coming out during first application are very low.
• Cogetherm PC   Phlogopite based laminate - desmoked version for the applications with continuous resistance >700 °C

Muscovite and Phlogopite mica tubes in various dimensions are also available.
