Code of conduct
Code of Conduct applicable to ELINAR-COGEBI Group as well as to providers of ELINAR-COGEBI Group
Elinar-Cogebi strictly applies the herewith given code of conduct. This Code of Conduct is also applicable by and to all providers of ELINAR-COGEBI Group (hereinafter referred to as the "Code of Conduct") and defines the responsibilities that their obligations towards third parties and the environment, as well as the basic principles, they must absolutely comply. ELINAR-COGEBI Group reserves the right to change the principles of this Code of Conduct to a reasonable extent. Upon information on this our suppliers will be requested to respect any reasonable changes.
ELINAR-COGEBI Group and their suppliers hereby declare:
1) Legal compliance
to comply with all applicable national and international laws.
2) Prohibition to engage in corruption and influence-peddling activities
- not to tolerate any form and not engage in any act of corruption or influence peddling, including by making a payment or giving an advantage of any kind to any official of State, and this in order to influence any decision making in violation of the regulations in force.
3) Competition, anti - trust and intellectual property rights
- to act in accordance with the laws on national and international competition and do not participate in unlawful agreements on the pricing, distribution of markets, customers, market-sharing or the bid rigging with competitors
- to respect the rights of intellectual property of others.
4) Conflict of interest
- to avoid any conflict of interest likely to impair relations. Mind in any potential conflict of interest situation whether your personal interests interfere with those of the Company or might it appear that way to others, either inside or outside the Company?
5) Respect for the fundamental rights of employees
- to promote equality of opportunity and treatment of employees regardless of any discriminatory criteria linked including, colour of skin, race, nationality, social origin, disability, sexual orientation, political beliefs or religious, gender or age.
- to respect the principles of dignity of the person, privacy, as well as the fundamental rights of every individual.

- not to tolerate any unacceptable treatment of employees, such as mental cruelty, sexual harassment or discrimination.
- to prohibit any unfair behavior, including any gesture, language, or physical contact, sexual, coercive, threatening of abusive or operational nature. > to assign equitable remuneration and ensure minimum income el applicable under the national legislation in force.
- to respect the maximum number of working hours imposed by the national legislation in force.
- to recognize the right of free association of employees in accordance with the law, and thus do not promote, nor discriminate against organizations of workers or unions.
6) Prohibition of the use of child labour
- not to use minor worker less than 15 years, or in the countries subject to the exception applicable to the developing countries of the International Labour Organization Convention 138, use no minor worker aged under 14 years.
- ELINAR-COGEBI Group has asked all relevant suppliers to strictly refrain from employing children.
7) Health and safety of employees in the workplace
- to be responsible for the health and safety of its employees in their workplace.
- to control all hazards and take the most appropriate and the reasonably possible precautionary measures against accidents and occupational disease.
- to ensure effective training of employees and ensure that they are able to cope with the problems of health and safety in their working.
- to implement or use a system of management of health and safety in the workplace.
8) Protection of the environment
- to act in accordance with regulations and international standards applicable to the protection of the environment.
- to reduce pollution of the environment and make continuous improvements in the environmental protection.
9) Supply chain
- to strive to promote within complete supply chain compliance with this Code of Conduct.
- to comply with the principles of non-discrimination in the choice and treatment of each provider.
10) Conflict minerals
- to make the necessary efforts to avoid the use of raw materials that directly or indirectly finance armed groups that violate human rights.
